2006 International Artists fellowship programme to Antarctica, jointly sponsored by the British Antarctic Survey and the Arts Council.

2005 Joint winner of the International Bombay Sapphire Prize. ‘Roker Breakfast’ short film made with Ruth Dupre and Louise Gilbert Scott at the National Glass Centre, Sunderland.

2005 Arts Council Individual award for SciArt project to be exhibited in 2007 in the Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth.
