In 2016, artist and potter Lou Gilbert Scott and I were jointly awarded an Arts Council Artists International Development Award to travel the length of Finland up into Sapmi to Tromso in Norway, meeting other artists and arts organisations exploring the notion of identity and belonging, both personally and with those people we met on our journey.
